Point Guard

Mike Conley
Opp - LAL, Matchup - D'Angelo Russell/Lou Williams, FPPG - 29.7, Salary - $27

One of the things I look at when drafting a player is his FPPG vs Salary. Most of the time, players demand higher salary than their FPPG but this is not the case for Conley. He's averaging 29.7 FPPG this season while demanding a $27 salary. Eventually, his salary will catch up so grab him now and enjoy the bargain.

Shooting Guard

C.J. McCollum
Opp - SAC, Matchup - Ben McLemore/Marco Belinelli, FPPG - 32.2, Salary $32

Damian Lillard is still most likely out against SAC so somebody has to take on his 24 PPG and 6 APG. Allen Crabbe played really well against CLE but I take C.J. anytime over Allen as the primary beneficiary from Damian's absence.

Guard

Jose Calderon
Opp - BOS, Matchup - Isaiah Thomas/Terry Rozier, FPPG - 18, Salary $10

Calderon has been solid the past two games against ATL and CLE, providing 31.8 and 24.1 fantasy points, accordingly. That's an average of 27.95. He doesn't even have to top those numbers; I'll take anything close to that for 10 bucks!

Small Forward

Will Barton
Opp - OKC, Matchup - Kevin Durant, FPPG - 29.1, Salary - $29

Yes, he is up against Durant and the Thunders but I like Will's consistency. Denver is also short-handed. With Gallo out, I expect Will Barton to take majority of his minutes and shots. It's also an advantage that Will is not a starter cause he will be playing against OKC's second unit most of the time.

Power Forward

Omri Casspi
Opp - POR, Matchup - Aminu, FPPG - 23.2, Salary - $26

Omri Casspi will be playing against POR who will be on the second leg of their back-to-back. Back-to-back games are gruelling and can take a toll on the player's body; this and the fact that Casspi has been solid in December, Casspi for $26 is a good investment.

Forward

Lance Thomas
Opp - BOS, Matchup - Jae Crowder, FPPG - 13, Salary - $12

At $12, Lance Thomas can provide great value. In fact, the past 4 games he's been providing 21.75 FPPG. Kristaps Porzingis only played 21 minutes in their last game due to a minor injury and if he misses time, only means more opportunities for Lance.

Center

DeMarcus Cousins
Opp - POR, Matchup - Mason Plumlee, FPPG - 44.1, Salary - $49

Cousins is an elite player providing elite numbers. Cousins will be playing against the younger and lighter Mason Plumlee so I really like his chances in having a big game.

UTIL

Enes Kanter
Opp - DEN, Matchup - Joffrey Lauvergne/Nikola Jokic, FPPG - 21.8, Salary - $14

Sometimes when choosing a player, you don't even have to do a lot of research. Just by looking at his FPPG vs Salary, you can already tell if you have a great deal. Kanter is averaging 21.8 fantasy points and you can have him for $14. I also double checked Kanter's last 2 games, and he's providing great returns with 31 FPPG. At 14 bucks, that's a pretty good deal!
